Send your wETH directly to Coinbase

If you want to exchange your wETH for USD using Coinbase for example, you'll need to first convert it to ETH using a swap service like Hop.exchange. Then, you can send the ETH to an exchange like Coinbase and exchange it for USD.

Here's a step-by-step guide to use Hop to exchange your wETH and send them to Coinbase:

Open Hop.exchange and connect your MetaMask wallet
Select Send
Select from Polygon network as the currency you want to exchange
Choose to Mainnet (ETH) as the currency you want to receive
Enter your Coinbase wallet address in the options as recipient
Click Approve
Follow the prompts to complete the swap and send

⚠️ It's important to note that you'll need to have some MATIC in your MetaMask wallet in order to execute the transaction.You can easily purchase MATIC from within your MetaMask wallet – it's very cheap and you won't need a large amount. Make sure you have enough MATIC before initiating the transaction.

After completing the exchange on Hop.exchange, you should have received your ETH in your Coinbase wallet.
Keep in mind that the blockchain transaction may take a few minutes to complete.

To exchange your ETH for USD on Coinbase:

Navigate to the "Buy/Sell" tab and choose "Sell"
Select "Ethereum" as the currency you want to sell and "add to USD Wallet"
Enter the amount of ETH you want to exchange and click "Sell Ethereum"
Follow the prompts to complete the purchase
